BRINNON — A Lakewood man was injured when the Chevrolet Camaro he was driving lost control and crashed on U.S. Highway 101 near Brinnon, the State Patrol said.
Earle W. Judd, 36, lost control of the car while passing at milepost 303 about four miles north of Brinnon at about 6:58 p.m. Friday, troopers said in a collision memo.
The southbound Camaro crossed both lanes of traffic, went into the northbound ditch, rolled and came to a rest on the southbound shoulder, the State Patrol said.
Judd was taken to Jefferson Healthcare. A nursing supervisor at the Port Townsend hospital said Judd was treated and released.
Judd was cited for illegal passing, the State Patrol said.
He was wearing a seat belt. Drugs or alcohol were not involved, troopers said.
The Camaro had reportable damage and was towed away, the State Patrol memo said.
