Clallam County commissioners and Sheriff Bill Benedict will discuss the status of the county’s pet licensing program Monday.
The commissioners’ work session will begin at 9 a.m. in Room 160 at the Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.
Other scheduled discussion items include:
• A agreement with IP Access International for satellite communications services to the Sheriff’s Office incident command vehicle.
• A call for hearing on the proposed sale of surplus property.
• A request for qualifications and performance data from real estate brokerage firms for the sale of surplus real estate holdings.
• A resolution encouraging the regular use of the video recording and livestreaming system for all public meetings held in the commissioners’ boardroom.
Commissioners will hear a quarterly income report from the state Department of Natural Resources at 1 p.m. Monday.
An executive session will be held at 3 p.m. Monday for discussion on a pending lawsuit.
Commissioners will conduct their regular business meeting at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Scheduled action items include:
• A contract amendment with Salish Behavioral Health Organization to increase the amount for youth outpatient services.
• An amended grant agreement with the state Department of Commerce.
• A call for bids for a carpet replacement project at the Juvenile and Family Services Facility.
• A resolution appointing Alyee Fredrickson to the North Olympic Library System board.
Sequim schools
The Sequim School Board will conduct a public hearing on followed by consideration of approval of the proposed 2017-18 budget when they meet at 6 p.m. Monday.
The board will meet in the district office at 503 N. Seqim Ave.
Board members will consider a budget that includes a general fund of $34.9 million.
Port Angeles schools
The Port Angeles School Board will consider a memorandum of understanding for a school-based health center when it meets at the Lower Elwha Tribal Center at 6 p.m. Thursday.
The board will meet at 2851 Lower Elwha Road.
It also will discuss a capital levy, reports on funding for Native American education and on impact aid, and consider approval of a district organizational plan and Dry Creek Elementary School organizational plan.
Quillayute Valley schools
The Quillayute Valley School Board will consider approval of the Forks coaches’ collective bargaining agreement for 2017-20 when it meets at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
The board will meet in the library at Forks High School, 261 Spartan Ave.
The board also will consider its goals for the next school year.
Clallam PUD
Clallam County Public Utility District commissioners will hear an update on Clallam County Economic Development Corp. activities when they gather Monday.
The meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m. in the Lake Crescent boardroom at the Carlsborg main office, located at 104 Hooker Road.
Other agenda items include certificates of completion of apprenticeship to new journeymen linemen Cole Charpilloz and Ryan Gray, a memo of completion with 3M Co. and the removal of delinquent invoices from miscellaneous accounts receivable.
Library system
The North Olympic Library System Board of Trustees will hear a report from West End branches when they meet in Clallam Bay on Thursday.
The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Clallam Bay Library, 16990 state Highway 112.
Other agenda items include approval of a Food for Fines program, financial reports and monthly statistics.
The North Olympic Library System oversees libraries in Port Angeles, Sequim, Forks and Clallam Bay.
