OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK — Guardrail installation, ditch cleaning and striping of fog lines will continue on U.S. Highway 101 around Lake Crescent this week.
Drivers can expect delays of up to a half-hour during weekday work hours, according to Penny Wagner, Olympic National Park spokeswoman.
During the summer, work was restricted to two hours after sunrise and two hours before sunset, but that is no longer in effect.
Strider Construction Inc. of Bellingham is in its second of three seasons of work in a project to rehabilitate 12 miles of the highway.
The project cost $27.5 million.
Construction seasons are from March through mid-November.
