PORT ANGELES — A Port Angeles woman charged with child rape and animal abuse has accepted a plea offer, Clallam County Superior Court records show.
Deanna Marie Wilson, 41, is charged with third-degree child rape, four counts of first-degree animal cruelty, possession of and dealing in depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct and furnishing liquor to minors.
She is expected to plead guilty to lesser charges at her next court appearance at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
Port Angeles police said Wilson raped a 15-year-old boy after providing alcohol to a group of minors last October and had sexual contact with her pet dog twice last year. She was alleged to have taken photographs of the alleged crimes with her cellphone.
Defense attorney John Black and Clallam County Chief Criminal Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Michele Devlin agreed Friday that a pre-sentencing investigation would be needed.
Wilson was arrested last October. She is being held in the Clallam County jail on $100,000 bail.
