PHOTO: Sharing big Christmas wishes at Lake Crescent

Santa Claus arrived at Lake Crescent Lodge on Saturday during the lodge’s annual lighting ceremony.

An estimated 200 people, mostly children, came to see Santa arrive by canoe at the beach by the lodge.

Santa then had the honor of flipping the switch and bathing the lodge in holiday colors.

Santa, this year portrayed by lodge employee Toni Silvetti, was available to talk and be photographed with many children.

Shown here, 4-year-old Cole Gottshall of Renton describes something he wants for Christmas. His father, Curt Gottshall, stands behind Cole.
