PHOTO: Raising funds for animals in Port Angeles

A.J. Newland, 9, of Port Angeles pets Slater, a 5-month-old Chihuahua/Doberman pinscher puppy, during a pet adoption and fundraising session for the Olympic Peninsula Humane Society held Saturday at Angeles Millwork & Lumber Co., in Port Angeles.

Angeles Millwork and its sister company, Hartnagel Building Supply, donated 5 percent of their sales Saturday to benefit the humane society.
