LETTER: Writer finds humor in PDN weather ‘poems’

I get such a kick out of the poetry that’s tucked under each day’s square on the weather page.

I had read the Peninsula Daily News for years before I discovered it and now I always watch for it.

What wonderful person writes this poetry?

I want to thank them for making me smile as I read it.

And the way I discovered it was when my friend had eye surgery and had to lie flat for 36 hours.

The only way I could keep her from getting restless was to read all of the PDN.

Yes, the front page thru to the classified and on to the weather page.

And she recovered in spite of all that.

Thanks for a great paper.
