LETTER: Will dump products over advertising decision

After having had a subscription to the Peninsula Daily News for more than 44 years, I feel compelled to submit my first letter to the editor.

I just heard of Nike’s decison to contract Colin Kaepernick, the kneeling, national anthem- and U.S. flag-disrespecting, mediocre ex-San Francisco 49ers quarterback, to be the face of its new advertising campaign, paying him millions of dollars.

This leads me to the decision to never buy another Nike product.

Any that I’ve already purchased are on their way to the dumpster.

I understand Nike has lost billions of dollars in stock value.

Guess what?

Thats just the start.

Bob Northern,
