The “Remove Trump” letter (Sept 21-22) reminds me of political divisiveness not seen since the Civil War.
The writer has nothing positive to say about a president who, despite constant attack and criticism, has in a very short time made extraordinary improvements for all Americans.
Under President Trump’s leadership, productivity has surged and unemployment rates continue to plummet, with African American, Latino and female unemployment rates at historic lows.
The economy is booming. Ordinary Americans are keeping more of their hard-earned dollars and are putting those dollars to work.
In Clallam County, building permit notifications have noticeably increased, which reflects on our improved local business climate here on the Peninsula.
In 2017, 1,003 permits were issued — an increase from 876 in 2016, 805 in 2015 and a 10-year low of 562 in 2011, according to Department of Community Development records.
How could the letter writer have missed these achievements?
