LETTER: To get rid of nuclear weapons, eliminate nationalism, nation-state

A number of people have badgered me to write a book, but another book is not what our world needs.

We need a plan for world peace that will at last remove the nuclear sword of Damocles that has been hanging over our heads — suspended by a thread — for the last 70 years.

The plan is simple. We cannot get rid of nuclear weapons because of their power and prestige, so we get rid of nationalism and the nation-state.

We replace them with thousands of county communities based on creek and river basin boundaries, and 13 interlocking regional UNs — based on major rivers, seas and oceans.

Once this is completed and up and running, then we can eliminate the nukes hopefully before the nukes eliminate us.

All the books in the world are not as important as this plan.

We will either live by it, or die without it.
