Our U.S. Sens. Maria Cantwell and Patty Murray were among 13 Democrats who recently voted against Senate Amendment 0178, which would have allowed the American people to buy their prescription drugs at a much lower price from Canada.
The bill, which was sponsored in part by Sen. Bernie Sanders, failed 52-46 because of their “no” votes.
Would you be surprised to hear that each of the 13 senators has received donations (“bribes”) from “Big Pharma”?
Examples include Maria Cantwell ($75,750) and Patty Murray ($515,089), according to the Center for Responsive Politics.
