We stand in support of Pastor Tony Brown of Port Townsend and all the LGBTQ people who are called to serve the light, especially those in communities that don’t support or accept them.
Love is love, and should be taken as a gift from whatever higher power you believe in.
We believe judgment is just another kind of fear that perpetuates closed hearts and minds.
We salute the people who are courageous enough to be true to themselves and to share their truth.
May all people be able to find that courage.
As Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said, “When evil men plot, good men must plan. When evil men burn and bomb, good men must build and bind. When evil men shout ugly words of hatred, good men must commit themselves to the glories of love.
