LETTER: Set aside differences and vote for Sequim library project

Can Sequim voters come together?

The current Sequim library was built 35 years ago.

Some people asked then if it would be used by many people.

It is being used by many people.

Too many people, as the population has doubled since then and the library has become an important hub of our community that brings people together.

The Clallam County Board of Commissioners voted to place two measures on the Nov. 6 ballot to solve this overcrowding problem.

They are listed on the ballot as Sequim Library Capital Facility Area Proposition No. 1 and Proposition No. 2.

I hope that Republican voters and Democratic voters find the strength to set aside their differences and come together as Sequim voters to vote for their library Nov. 6.

John Bridge,

Sequim
