LETTER: Port Angeles School Board should follow Sequim’s lead, dump FLASH

What has happened in the schools of today?

You can now be anything you want to be.

If you are male you can be female (in name only).

If you are female you can be male (in name only).

I think these ideas are encouraged and supported by the FLASH sex-ed program.

Now then, if one is confused by their gender identity, professional counselors are prohibited by state law to render help without fear of losing their license.

These sinister things are the undying agenda of the alphabet soup LGBTQ, etc. coalition.

Does the school board have the best interest and well being of our children truly at heart?

When elected school boards endorse programs that don’t know the difference between male and female, we should not wonder where the morals of future generations are heading.

A praise is due to the Sequim School Board for ending the FLASH program.

Maybe the Port Angeles school board should spend some time with the Sequim school board and search for a program that is scientifically accurate and less morally debased.

Richard Coulson,

Port Angeles
