LETTER: Note Trump’s successes when you vote this November

I don’t know about you, but I am really liking the “Trump bumps” that just keep coming.

And I think most people agree.

Except, maybe, those who resent President Donald Trump’s successes because his triumphs tend to underscore their previous failures, as well as block their return to power, which is a good thing.

One such Trump bump is the economy, where the economic indices have surged to new highs, unemployment rates, particularly for minorities, have dropped to historic lows, consumer confidence is on the upswing and manufacturing continues dynamic growth.

What’s not to like?

Not to forget that Trump bumped the grossly inequitable North American Free Trade Agreement in favor of the eminently more favorable United States Mexican Canada Agreement.

And, hopefully, ongoing discussions with Europe, Korea and China will yield similar benefits.

You gotta love it.

He’s making America great again, one deal at a time.

Among the most effective Trump bumps was the elimination and or repeal of many existing and proposed regulations that hampered, constricted or otherwise adversely impacted the economy.

He released the brakes and stepped on the gas.

But my very favorite Trump bump is the appointment of Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court which will, one hopes, re-establish the Constitution as the basis for decisions as envisioned by the founding fathers.

I just hope he gets another vacancy to fill.

Remember, it’s not about Trump himself or what he says.

It’s about what he does.

You may wish to remember this on voting day.
