Joe Nole is my choice for Jefferson County sheriff.
He began serving in our county as a teacher and a back country ranger.
In the past twenty-eight years he has held just about every law enforcement position in the department, including interim sheriff, according to his biography.
He certainly has an outstanding record as a dedicated and experienced law enforcement officer.
Without question, he knows how to effectively manage the office.
Joe is also known as a well-respected “people person,” a trait especially essential in law enforcement.
I observed that trait the first time that I met him a few years ago.
His recent campaign kick-off gathering convinced me.
It was very apparent in that packed room that Joe’s many years as a fellow citizen and good neighbor were just as important to his supporters as his reputation as a good cop.
Jefferson County is where Joe Nole chose to live, raise a family and spend his career serving us.
Now it is time for us to elect him our sheriff.
