No excuses now
I hope everyone notices that the ballot you received in the mail for the Aug. 7 primary election does not need a stamp.
Unlike the past — where you had to either drive your ballot to a drop box (if there was one even close to you), or find a stamp to put on the return envelope — this one has prepaid postage.
Complete your ballot and put it in your mailbox by Aug. 7.
There’s no excuse now not to vote.
