LETTER: No one in GOP addressing nominee’s potential problems

Potential problem

The Republican Party’s mission statement has for some time resembled the Jesus statement, “Suffer the little children …” when it comes to their policies on poverty, healthcare and gun violence.

It also matches their attitude towards women, pregnant or otherwise.

After spending months blocking Obama’s presidential authority to nominate a Supreme Court justice, Republicans are ramming through President Donald Trump’s choice of Judge Brett Kavanaugh, despite Christine Ford’s damning testimony.

Let’s be honest. No one in the Republican Party is really addressing Kavanaugh’s potential problem as a closet alcoholic in denial over his behavior while drunk, or really being honest about Kavanaugh’s partisan willingness to carry out Republican policies on the Supreme Court in the future, including overturning Roe v. Wade and allowing most Americans to be treated as exploitable, disposable worker bees.
