Kudos for article
I was moved by the report of Jefferson County Commissioner Kathleen Kler’s remarks at the ceremony honoring Medal of Honor recipient Marvin Shields.
As a, slightly older, member of Kathleen’s generation, I felt that she spoke for me as well as a significant percentage of that generation, and do so poignantly and honorably.
Kudos to her for saying what she did; kudos to the PDN for covering those remarks sensitively and well.
Good journalism deserves credit when it’s earned, as it definitely was in this case.
