LETTER: Gun control not the answer

Not gun control

Guns are not the problem, as claimed by a precious few againsters of firearms for private or public protection, and gun control is not the answer.

The problem is people who decide to be criminal.

Eliminate those people — that is the answer, and the obsessive, alleged gun problem is solved.

Those criminally initiated activities will stop — guaranteed.

Those activities will disappear abruptly.

Any doubts?

Then let’s test it out, starting today, nationwide.

Any loaded gun, even with a 30 cartridge magazine, and the safety off, will cause no problem for anyone — unless some nutcake person picks it up and proceeds to do harm with it.

Same thing applies for any other inordinate object — alcohol, a shovel, a rhubarb leaf, a hatchet, a feather, a hammer, a marshmallow or even a butcher knife.

Think about it — true or false?

Somebody has to cause the action to happen.

Solving the problem of one provides poetic justice for all.
