LETTER: Get Waterfront Center out of tsunami zone

Waterfront wisdom

Can someone please tell me the wisdom and practicality of building a multi-million dollar Waterfront Center slap-dab on the waterfront in downtown Port Angeles when scientists have warned about the long-overdue earthquake involving the Cascadia Subduction Zone?

Hello?

As we all now know, should an earthquake occur, the downtown will dissolve into liquefaction and be completely destroyed.

Those millions would be better spent on higher ground.

Susan S. Hahn,

Port Angeles
