LETTER: Employee voices support for Harrison for judge

Supports Harrison

Noah Harrison’s extensive experience, impressive leadership and dedicated community involvement make him an exceptional candidate for Jefferson County District Court judge.

As his employee for three years, I know he is more than an exceptional candidate; he is an exceptional human being.

As an attorney, I became a stay-at-home mom for several years.

Sadly, as with many other professions, this is career suicide.

Upon returning to law, it was difficult to find a firm that didn’t view my stay-at-home mom stint as a serious flaw.

Harrison supported my choice and hired me enthusiastically.

This is his way, consistently empowering the women around him — his wife, daughters, employees and clients.

He leads his life with compassion and respect.

Harrison Law is the child- and animal-friendliest firm around.

Noah Harrison loves children.

In addition to welcoming kids into the office, and giving children tours of the courthouse, he represents children in dependency and other proceedings.

He also helps parents save their children from addiction, domestic violence, and other unfortunate situations and ensures that even low-income parents can afford his services.

Noah loves animals. Just ask the office dog, Kaba, and he believes they deserve protection under the law.

When I worked there, we had a company policy against defending animal abuse cases, got protection orders for animals and included pets in estate planning.

Working with him at Harrison Law was about a mutual love of family, community, humanity, justice and changing the world for the better.

Imagine a courtroom filled with this spirit.

I can.
