Disappointed
More than 350 newspapers devoted print space Aug. 15 in a coordinated defense of freedom of the press and a rebuke of Trump’s war on the press (e.g., “Fake news!;” “The press is the enemy of the people”).
This coordinated effort was initiated by The Boston Globe and The New York Times and I applaud their backbone in this crucial matter.
I was disappointed that Peninsula Daily News was not one of the newspapers that carried an editorial today rebuking Trump’s war on the press.
