LETTER: Democratic majority would rein in president

Vote for balance

Let’s keep this simple: We have a dysfunctional government.

Congress and the presidency are not checking each other to make sure their decisions are the best for the needs of the American people.

For our government to work for the long-term betterment of America, we need to change at least one portion of that government in the November elections.

We need to change Congress because there is no other national group available to us at this time — a Democratic Congress.

We need to vote in a majority Democractic Congress to slow down or stop the dangerous, destructive meanderings of an erratic president.

Frank Cimino,
