PORT ANGELES — Clallam County’s Night to Shine organizers seek volunteers, promising a good party for all who participate.
Night to Shine is a volunteer-driven free prom for individuals with special needs who are 14 and older. It was originated by the Tim Tebow Foundation.
This year’s prom, which will serve all of the North Olympic Peninsula, will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Feb. 8 at the Vern Burton Center, 308 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.
Volunteers must be 16 or older, and all volunteers must preregister. Volunteers are required to attend a brief training session, and several sessions are still available. Details about the training sessions are available with the registration forms.
There are many opportunities before, during and after the prom for individuals to be involved.
