Sequim hosts performers on Civic Center plaza

SEQUIM — The city of Sequim invites the public to its 2018 Performers on the Plaza concert series from noon to 2 p.m. today.

The free series will be offered each Friday through August.

Today at the Civic Center Plaza, 152 W. Cedar St., the Lukas Rose Duo will perform country music.

Attendees are invited to bring chairs, blankets and picnics for an afternoon of music.

The schedule for upcoming free outdoor summer concerts is:

• Aug. 17 — Mike Klinger B3 Organ Group, jazz organ with drums, guitar and trumpet.

• Aug. 24 — Black Rock, classic rock.

• Aug. 31 — Ridge Runner , bluegrass.
