Performers on the Plaza begins second season

SEQUIM — The second season of Performers on the Plaza begins today and will continue throughout August.

Ridgerunner will perform bluegrass and other music from noon to 2 p.m. at the Civic Center Plaza, 152 W. Cedar St.

Free performances are scheduled each Friday throughout the month.

Visitors are urged to bring a chair or blanket, and a picnic.

Here is the schedule for the rest of the month:

• Aug. 10 — Lukas Rose Duo, country.

• Aug. 17 — Mike Klinger B3, jazz organ with drums, guitar and trumpet.

• Aug. 24 — Black Rock, classic rock.

• Aug. 31 — Back Door Alley, pop rock.
