Holiday gift shopping offered on Peninsula

Holiday bazaars continue to be offered across the North Olympic Peninsula this weekend.

Handmade gifts for the season can be found at these fairs.

PORT TOWNSEND

Arts Guild bazaar

PORT TOWNSEND — The Port Townsend Arts Guild will sponsor its 28th annual juried Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Saturday.

The fair will be in the Port Townsend Community Center, 620 Tyler St.

Each artist will donate a portion of each sale to the Jefferson County Food Bank; in 2017 the fair raised $3,000 for the food bank.

The guild is a nonprofit arts guild that offers arts scholarships to Jefferson County students majoring in the arts.

SEQUIM

Elks Holiday Bazaar

SEQUIM — Sequim Elks will host a holiday bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The bazaar will be in the Elks Lodge, 143 Port Williams Road.

Local artists and vendors will sell gift items, holiday decor, fiber art, glass, jewelry and trendy clothing.

Santa will be available for pictures from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Down Home bazaar

SEQUIM — The Sequim High School Band Boosters will host the group’s ninth annual Down Home Holiday Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

The bazaar will be at the high school cafeteria, 601 N. Sequim Ave.

It will feature local vendors selling hand-crafted gift items such as jewelry, candles and ornaments.

Raffle prizes and a special performance from the Sequim High School jazz band also will be featured.

Money raised at this event will go toward Sequim High School band programs.

The Sequim High marching band performs at home football and basketball games and marches in a variety of parades.

Proceeds will benefit the Sequim High School Band.

Lavender Bazaar

SEQUIM — The Sequim Lavender Growers Association will host its 16th annual Lavender Holiday Bazaar from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

The bazaar will be in the Sunland Ballroom, 109 Hilltop Drive.

The bazaar features lavender gifts, raffle baskets and a decorated tree.

The public is invited to bring cameras for pictures with Santa from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Proceeds from the raffles will benefit Sequim Community Aid and Toys for Tots.

QUILCENE

Gift, craft sale

QUILCENE — The 16th annual Quilcene Gift and Craft Sale will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The sale will be in the Quilcene Community Center, 294952 U.S. Highway 101.

The sale features pictures with Santa in his antique sleigh, local boy scouts wreaths and a raffle to benefit the Quilcene Food Bank.

Vendors will offer knitwear, wooden toys, collectibles and gifts.
