PORT ANGELES — In its fifth summer, the Shakespeare in the Woods festival presents the comedy “The Taming of the Shrew” at the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center, 1203 E. Lauridsen Blvd.
Patrons are invited to come early for the 6 p.m. performances Fridays through Sundays, today through Aug. 4, in the meadow of the center’s Webster’s Woods Sculpture Park.
Admission is free while donations are appreciated. Audience members should bring blankets, warm clothes, low lawn chairs and picnic suppers — but no glass containers and no pets. Service animals with certification are welcome.
Artists and artisans are invited to join the Makers’ Market in the park on performance nights; see PAFAC.org and click on Artist Opportunities.
