Jazzercise open house set

PORT ANGELES — Trisa Katsikapes, the new owner of Jazzercise Peninsula Fitness Studio, will hold an open house from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday.

Patrons can stop into the studio at 128 E. Fifth St. and try a free jazzercise session starting at 9:30 a.m.

According to a press release, jazzercise is a fitness program that blends dance cardio with Pilates, kickboxing and strength training.

Most sessions last approximately 55 minutes.

Katsikapes leads a staff that includes four other certified Jazzercise instructors: Anne Amar, Stacey Sanders, Andrea Gail and Jessica Schuenemann.

In addition to the Port Angeles location, the studio will offer classes in Sequim at the Aspire Dance Academy, 160 Harrison Road, Suite 1.
