Jon and Cheryl Koenig, owners of the eatery at 53821 state Highway 112, at the intersection at Camp Hayden Road, hosted a final closing party for friends and customers.
They announced the closure on the business Facebook page July 11.
The restaurant included a game room and an old Western-style bar.
The Koenigs were unavailable for comment Sunday, but they posted a farewell message to their customers on their Facebook page.
“We are sorry to announce that due to several unfortunate setbacks, we are going to be closing the Salt Creek Saloon and Grill,” the message said.
“We have enjoyed our run, short as might have been, but feel we did the best we could to provide good food, good service, and a friendly atmosphere.”
“We want to thank those who participated and supported the endeavor and consider all to be friends. We are sorry for any inconvenience and we will miss all of you,” the Koenigs wrote.
