Nancy Adams, 56, of The Dalles, Ore., was taken to Harborview Medical Center after she was injured when an oncoming driver suffered a seizure and lost control of his van on the highway near Barr Road, the State Patrol said.
Adams’ daughter, Caroline Roberts, reported on the Peninsula Daily News website that Adams has a spinal injury.
“She has already had one surgery on her spine and now has to have another,” Roberts wrote.
Adams, who was driving a 2013 Subaru, initially was taken to Olympic Medical Center after the 2:30 p.m. wreck Friday but was moved later to Harborview for advanced treatment.
Morgan T. Janisse, 25, of Port Angeles was driving a 1995 gray Plymouth Voyage eastbound on Highway 101 with his 1-year-old daughter when he suffered a seizure and crossed the centerline, according to the State Patrol.

The collision shut down both lanes of Highway 101 east of Port Angeles for about 15 minutes.
