The deadline for submitting applications is
3 p.m. Thursday, May 16.
Murven Sears, a community representative, is resigning after the May 14 meeting of the panel.
The Utility Advisory Committee makes recommendations about utility policy and operation to the City Council.
The advisory panel is composed of three City Council members, one industrial representative, one representing licensed care facilities and two community representatives.
Members are appointed to four-year terms, with a limit of two consecutive terms.
The candidate appointed to fill this position will serve until the term expires Feb. 28.
Members must live in Port Angeles, except for the member representing the licensed care facilities, who need not be a city resident but who must own or manage a licensed care facility within the city limit.
The committee meets at 3 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at City Hall, 321 E. Fifth St.
