UPDATE — Wreck blocks Highway 116 in Jefferson County

PORT HADLOCK — A two-car wreck, which has blocked both lanes of state Highway 116 at the intersection of state Highway 19, caused at least one injury, according to the State Patrol.

State Patrol dispatchers said that today's 4:45 p.m. collision was an injury wreck but had no additional information at 6:15 p.m..

The northbound lane of Highway 19 also is blocked after the wreck, according to the state Department of Transportation, which at 6:15 p.m. amended its earlier estimate of clearing the road by 6:45 p.m. to saying that it is unknown when it would be reopened.

More information will be published after it is released by the State Patrol, which is investigating the wreck.
