Port Townsend woman jailed after Rhody Drive wreck

Danna Lee Callahan, 45, was taken into custody at her home after the 7 p.m. wreck and booked for investigation of driving under the influence and hit and run, Trooper Russ Winger, State Patrol spokesman, confirmed.
Bail was set at $25,000 on Monday afternoon.
The Port Hadlock couple was left shaken but unhurt, said Bill Beezley, spokesman for East Jefferson Fire-Rescue.
Winger identified the couple as Cathy and Steven Mosher.
Beezley said they told firefighters they were northbound on Rhody Drive, which is also state Highway 19, when a gray Chrysler Sebring convertible came up behind them going much faster than the 40 mph permitted on that section of the road.
The Sebring rammed the back of the Moshers' Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, causing it to roll three times before coming to rest upside-down on the east side of the road, Beezley said they told firefighters.
The Sebring skidded and hit a tree near the Toyota, he added, saying a witness said the driver fled on foot and got a ride from a passing vehicle.
Fire Department medical personnel evaluated the Port Hadlock couple before the two were released.
About an hour later, fire department medics were paged to a Port Townsend home to medically evaluate a 45-year-old woman who was suspected of having been involved in the wreck, Beezley said.
Winger confirmed that the woman was Callahan.
She was taken to Jefferson Healthcare, where she was treated for a facial injury and discharged before being taken into custody, Winger said.
