Rebecca M. “Becki” Daarud was sentenced Dec. 4 in Clallam County Superior Court.
The case was investigated by the Olympic Peninsula Narcotics Enforcement Team, or OPNET.
OPNET Detective Sgt. Jason Viada, team supervisor, said Daarud agreed to the guilty plea in exchange for the dismissal of other charges, including possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine.
Viada said Daarud sold meth to an undercover OPNET informant.
Daarud’s co-defendant, Philip A. Graham, 52, also of Port Angeles, was sentenced Oct. 17 to two years’ probation after pleading guilty to possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, Viada said.
Meanwhile, Lawrence R. “Russ” Moorman, 49, was arrested early Thursday east of Sequim for investigation of selling meth to an OPNET informant on four occasions between March and August of this year.
The case is being reviewed by the Clallam County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, and charges are anticipated, Viada said.
“These three cases are good examples of OPNET operations that involve both teamwork with other agencies in the area and investigative techniques that require officers to wear plain clothes and drive standard vehicles,” he said.
