At the Mount Angeles Unit, 2620 S. Francis St., day camp starts June 22, with field trips to Hurricane Ridge, Point Defiance Zoo in Tacoma and other destinations.
Open to children age 6 to 12, the summer programming runs from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. weekdays through Aug. 31.
If paid in advance, the fee is $60 per week; otherwise, it’s $15 a day, said unit Director George Rodes.
“We provide breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack,” he added.
Families receive discounts for each additional child after the first one signs up. Five weeks of day camp costs $275, while the full 10 weeks is $550.
The Port Angeles club offers teen activities from noon to 6 p.m. this summer, for no additional fee beyond the $30 annual membership.
Prices the same
The prices are the same at the Sequim Boys & Girls Club, 400 W. Fir St., for summer day camp starting June 27.
Families who sign up in advance enjoy discounts, and those with more than one child participating also pay less per child, said program Director Kristal Van Selus.
Summer day camp at the Sequim unit is for kids age 6 to 12 and runs from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays, with themed activities and field trips included.
Teens welcome
Teenagers are also welcome at the Sequim club’s afternoon and evening programs, which are open from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
The teen activities are included in the $30 Boys & Girls Clubs’ annual membership.
