Karla Marie Collins, age 59, passed away from cardiac arrhythmia.
Karla was born in Port Angeles on December 15, 1951, to Herbert Walker Hibbard and Caroline Mae (Thorpe) Hibbard.
Karla married Daniel Collins in October of 1978 in Kenmore, Washington, and that marriage ended in divorce.
Karla received an Associate of Arts degree from Peninsula College and her nursing license from Olympic College in Bremerton.
She was proud to be a Registered Nurse and worked at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Seattle and as a home health nurse.
Karla loved camping and as a teen attended the Assembly of God Church.
Karla is preceded in death by her father, Herbert Hibbard.
She is survived by her son, Peter C. Collins of Carnation, Washington; mother, Caroline Hibbard of Port Angeles; and brothers, Rod (Debbie) Hibbard of Port Angeles and Richard (Terrie) Hibbard of Sequim.
A private family service will be held.
