SPECIAL ELECTION: Sequim, Chimacum school bonds losing in first count; Port Townsend bond wins handily

The Sequim School District's proposed $54 million construction bond was losing in the first count of special election ballots Tuesday night, while a bond for the Port Townsend schools passed by a whopping 73.06 percent.
Bond issues require a 60 percent supermajority for passage. (continued)
