EYE ON BUSINESS: This week's business meetings

■ Port Angeles Regional Chamber of Commerce — Twice-monthly ­luncheon meetings are held on the first and third Mondays at noon in the second-floor meeting room of the Red Lion Hotel, 221 N. Lincoln St.

However, there will be no meeting this Monday because of Labor Day.

The chamber will hold only one membership luncheon next month: Sept. 15, in which the Surfrider Foundation will present a program on its efforts to clean and protect North Olympic Peninsula beaches.

■ Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce — Weekly ­luncheon meetings are held Mondays at noon at the Port Townsend Elks Lodge, 555 Otto St.

However, the chamber won't meet this Monday because of Labor Day.

The next membership luncheon, Sept. 8, will feature a talk by Keven Elliff of Windridge Solutions on how to increase business through the use of Internet search engines.

■ Forks Chamber of Commerce — Following a summer hiatus, the chamber resumes weekly luncheon meetings on Wednesdays at noon at JT's Sweet Stuffs, 80 N. Forks Ave.

This Wednesday's meeting will be devoted to an update of local business issues.

Lunch costs $8; a bowl of soup, $4.99; and a cup of soup, $3.99 (all prices plus tax). The entree is chicken taco salad.

■ Port Angeles Business Association — Breakfast meetings are Tuesdays at 7:30 a.m. at Joshua's Restaurant, 113 ­DelGuzzi Drive, Port Angeles.

This Tuesday's program will be an open business meeting.

There is a $3 minimum charge by Joshua's for those who do not order breakfast.


All the above meetings are open to the public.
