WEEKEND: 'Broadway Music and Memories' welcomes guest Saturday, Sunday in Port Townsend

PORT TOWNSEND –– Soprano Evangelia Kingsley joins singer and actress Carol Swarbrick and pianist Linda Dowdell at the Key City Public Theatre's “Broadway Music and Memories” series at Key City Playhouse, 419 Washington Ave.

A veteran actor who has starred on the Great White Way in Puccini's “La Boheme,” “Coram Boy” and toured with “Light in the Piazza,” Kingsley headlines shows at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

Kingsley's one-woman show “Dance Me to the End of Love” was recently produced in New York City.

The trio will perform songs of Bernstein, Sondheim, Rodgers and Hammerstein and Schmidt & Jones, among others, interspersed with insider stories about life on Broadway.
