Staff at the library at 2210 S. Peabody St. are offering one-on-one appointments between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Thursdays, Aug. 14 and 28.
Participants, who are asked to bring their own devices, will be guided through the process of downloading e-books or e-audiobooks from services such as Washington Anytime Library, 3-M and Oneclick Digital.
Staff members Ean Henninger and Sarah Morrison can help participants with their Kindles, Nooks, Sony Readers, Android tablets or smartphones, Apple devices or mp3 players.
Help with buying
Those who are considering buying an e-reader or similar gadget can discuss with them which one would best suit their needs.
Alternate appointment times are available upon request.
