Show your stuff during Karaoke Idol on Tuesday

SEQUIM — Those looking to capture their share of Dungeness stardom can give it a go at the third annual Karaoke Idol contest Tuesday.

Part of the city of Sequim’s Music in the Park program, the singing contest is open to anyone who submits an official application, available on the city’s website,, or at the temporary city hall at 226 N. Sequim Ave.

Contestants should be prepared to sing three songs from the karaoke library.

Prizes will be awarded for first through third places.

Audience members are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and picnic items to the event.

An audience sing-along will be held while judges deliberate.
