WEEKEND: Port Ludlow author to sign latest book in Poulsbo shop Sunday

Peninsula Daily News

POULSBO — Port Ludlow resident and author David Cabbell will be at Liberty Bay Books, 18881 Front St. NE, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 6, for a booksigning event.

His book, Antiquity, follows the life of Mark Blackstone and his international trading business, which is collapsing.

Just when he thinks his life can’t get any worse, the ferry he was on explodes and throws his whole life into chaos. An old archaeologist slips a small block of wood with an ancient Roman coin embedded in it into Blackstone’s jacket, whispering a man’s name and a town in Europe.

That night the old man is murdered, Blackstone is attacked, and the FBI contacts him for help.

Could all of these events be connected in some way?

Will he discover the true meaning of this mysterious coin in his pocket?
