PORT HADLOCK — Estrellitas (Little Stars) Preschool is now open year-round in the Ness’s Corner Building, 10644 Rhody Drive, and is accepting new students for the summer months.

Children ages 2 to 6 can enroll in a bilingual Spanish/English program this summer.

Estrellitas director and head teacher Norma Avila grew up speaking Spanish and has taught Spanish classes locally at Jefferson Community School and Firefly Academy Preschool in Port Townsend, and at the Jefferson County Library in Port Hadlock.

Teacher Brynn Kesgard substitute-teaches at Swan School and Head Start, and has taught at Firefly Academy Preschool.

She is working toward a degree in early childhood education at Peninsula College and has traveled to Mexico and Central America to practice her Spanish.

Estrellitas’ summer hours are Mondays through Fridays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., including most holidays.

For more information or to schedule a drop-in, phone Avila at 206-604-0128.

Estrellitas is also on Facebook at www.facebook.com/www.estrellitaspreschool.
