Well-behaved pets on leashes will be welcome at the reception with Jean Bradbury, the center's featured artist, from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free, and along with the usual refreshments for humans, the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula will offer handmade dog and cat treats for sale.
Bradbury, who lives in Seattle, also will give a free talk about her show at 4 p.m.
“Vulnerable Creatures” is a collaboration among the Boys & Girls Clubs, the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center and the Olympic Peninsula Humane Society, so a pet adoption day is set for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the fine arts center.
More about the art show, which opens today and stays up through July 5, will appear in Friday's Peninsula Spotlight, the Peninsula Daily News' arts and entertainment section.
