PORT ANGELES — Mediator, trainer and humorist Laura O’Neal of Port Angeles will teach a seminar on active listening and communication at InSpired! Gifts, 124 W. First St., starting Tuesday.
There is no cost for the six-week class, although donations will be accepted.
Sessions, to go from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. each Tuesday through May 20, will explore how listening can deepen a connection with others and with oneself.
Participants will be encouraged to share their life experiences.
O’Neal, who also appears at community events as “The Advice Lady” and as a comedian, has worked in the field of mediation and business start-up training for more than two decades.
She has been a certified mediator for 11 years and served as executive director and lead trainer for the Peninsula Dispute Resolution Center for seven years.
