Clallam seeks volunteers for dozens of vacancies on advisory boards, committees; applications due April 25

PORT ANGELES — Clallam County is seeking volunteers to fill 44 vacancies on 17 advisory boards and committees.

Applications are due April 25.

Vacancies exist on the Agricultural Commission (1 vacancy), Animal Issues Advisory Committee (5), Board of Equalization (1), Boundary Review Board (3), Carlsborg Community Advisory Council (1), Developmental Disabilities Advisory Committee (6), Heritage Advisory Board (1), Homelessness Task Force (3), Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (2), Marine Resource Committee (3), Noxious Weed Control Board (1), Opportunity Fund Board (2), Peninsula Housing Authority (1), Permit Advisory Board (2), Sheriff’s Citizens Advisory Committee (1), Solid Waste Advisory Committee (1) and Trails Advisory Committee (10).

Interested citizens are invited to contact the Clallam County commissioners’ office at 360-417-2233; visit their office in the Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St.; or download an application from the county website.

Current members with expiring terms are asked to provide a written statement by facsimile at 360-417-2493, mail or email to tholden@co.clallam.wa.us.
