Jim Nyby will play a benefit Candlelight Concert at Port Townsend’s Trinity United Methodist Church on Thursday.

PORT TOWNSEND — Jazz standards, folk, country, blues and gospel will fill Trinity United Methodist Church for another Candlelight Concert this Thursday, as Jim Nyby and Friends arrive.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and Nyby, a mainstay of the Port Townsend music scene for 14 years, will bring his band in at 7 p.m.

Admission at Trinity United, uptown at 609 Taylor St., is a suggested $10 donation for adults, while children are invited to come free.

As always, refreshments will be served after the performance.

Proceeds from Thursday’s event will benefit Dove House Advocacy Services of Jefferson County. For details about the Candlelight Concert series, phone 360-774-1644.
