Community Christmas meals scheduled today

Community Christmas meals are planned in Chimacum and Forks today.

The Tri-Area Community Center, 10 West Valley Road, will host a free meal from noon to 3 p.m.

The meal will include turkey, ham, potatoes, vegetables, rolls, desserts and coffee or tea.

The annual event is sponsored by St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church and Olympic Community Action Programs, or OlyCAP.

All are welcome.

Volunteers are needed to help serve the meal.

A free Christmas dinner is planned at the Forks Community Center today.

The meal will be from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the center at 91 Maple Ave.

The meal is sponsored by the churches of Forks.
